Ahoy sailors and nautic creatures!
The MS MRMCD will hit the high seas on October 3rd, so it’s not that long until the adventure begins. The crew would like to give you a few important tips beforehand on what to watch out for so that you don’t accidentally disembark.
We set sail on October 3rd at 13:37 and the first talks and workshops will start at 14:00.
You will need to bring your own equipment:
- Lanyard | The badges will be in A7 format, if you intend to bring your own badge holder
- DECT | The POC is here!
- Straw | You’ve beent to MRMCD prior? Great! The stainless steel straw you got last year is something you want to bring along
Due to the continuing threat of COVID and especially the danger of LongCOVID, we ask you to test every day. There will be tests on site. The event may take place mainly indoors due to the weather, so having a mask of your choice with you is certainly not a bad idea.
The Wiki is again open for your contributions. You are also welcome to enter self-organized sessions there! If you already worked on the wiki last year, you can still log in with the same account.
You can get an overview of all talks and workshops on the timetable.
The MRMCD, like all Chaos events, is organized by us in our spare time. On the voyage itself there are many interesting tasks for which we need active support. No voyage is complete without sailors! Register with the sailor system, support the event in shifts and collect hours to receive an extra sailor shirt at the end, which we will send you after the event.
For communication before and during the event, please use the hashtag #mrmcd24!
We look forward to you embarking on this journey with us!
Best regards, The crew of the MS MRMCD
