Rules on the H.M.S. MRMCD

Dear fellow landlubber,

Embark with us on a journey to the depths of the oceans dedicated to exploration, and entertainment, but also community.

To ensure all sailors can enjoy the community of the seas, we kindly ask you to take note of the following rules that apply to each and every sailor:

  1. The ship’s regulations are binding for all visitors, captains, sailors, landlubbers, as well as the staff.

  2. Boarding privileges are granted to everyone who holds a ticket. In buying a ticket, the sailor agrees to abide by the ship’s rules. Companions for people who are in possesion of a disability ID card (Schwerbehindertenausweis) with mark B (Merkzeichen B), do not require a ticket.

  3. Taking photographs and films is permitted, as long as all recognizable sailors on the picture agree with the picture or film being taken. Pictures or films taken without permission of all recognizable sailors are to be deleted immediately. Bootlegs and pirate copies of sessions are strictly prohibited and will be punished. Recordings of the sessions will be published online during or after the journey by the VOC.

  4. Mutual consideration and respect for all sailors, the seas, talks, and inventory are a requirement for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We do not tolerate any harassment from and by fellow sailors.

  5. Sailors who become subject to harassment can reach out to the staff at all times. The responsible contact persons will be available in person as well as by email and phone during the event. We will treat any requests or reports confidentially and will never talk about them with a third party without prior explicit consent of the reporting visitor.

  6. Should a visitor wish for the staff’s help in resolving a situation, the staff will document the situation from the viewpoint of all affected persons. Once the course of events is as clear as possible, we will discuss further consequences if required. The staff reserves the right to ask visitors to keep a distance from each other or will let the mutineers walk the plank or kielhaul them.

  7. The staff will document all such cases in an anonymized way.
